Salad Hut bungalows is located on Haat Salad beach on the northwest coast of Koh Phangan The fastest way from Bangkok is to fly to Koh Samui island. Check out Bangkok Airways and Thai Airways for timetable and prices. From Samui continue with boat to Thong Sala pier. Lomprayah catamaran takes 20 mins and leaves Mae Nam beach on Koh Samui 8 am, 12.30 pm and 5.30 pm. There is also Seatran Express at 1.30 pm that leaves from Bophut. The last boat from Koh Samui leaves Bophut 6.30 pm and arrives at Haad Rin beach on Koh Phangan. The information desk at Koh Samui airport sells tickets including transfer to all boats that come to Koh Phangan, and they know the latest timetables and changes. The closest airport on the mainland is in Surat Thani. From there take a bus to the ferry pier in Don Sak (aprox 1,5 hours) and then a ferry to Koh Phangan (aprox 2,5-3 hours). Air Asia and Thai Airways fly here. |

| Koh Phangan can also easily be reached from Bangkok by your choice of air-conditioned bus or train to Surat Thani, then onwards with a boat from either Don Sak or Surathani town. Overland bus and train routes are best taken
overnight and trains offer convenient sleeper service with connections from the train station in Surat Thani
to the port and on to Koh Phangan.
